A world record and much more

For 173 years MARÍNA has been the World’s longest love poem. In April 2017
we succeeded in having MARÍNA officially registered as a world record by the World
Record Academy, the largest organisation for certification of this kind.

We digitalised the manuscript of the poem MARÍNA

In cooperation with the Slovak National Library in Martin and EPSON we digitalised
Sládkovič manuscript in ultra-high definition, so that people from all around the globe
can now admire the finest manuscript details of the World’s longest love poem.

We opened the first part
of the House of Marína to the public

On 16th December 2017 we opened the first third of the House of Marína to the public.
Our thanks go to hundreds of people, their enthusiasm, effort and commitment.

We put together the most comprehensive collection
of MARÍNA editions in the world

Thanks to enthusiasts from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Germany,
France, Serbia and the United Kingdom we managed to assemble the world’s largest
collection of MARÍNA publications.

From the very unique first edition in 1846 to the latest published in 2017.
We hold almost all 46 editions in 6 languages.
We are still looking for one in Hindi.

We began promoting the poem MARÍNA around the world

We have established and are operating the first genuine LOVE BANK, which triggered
journalists’ interest in Sládkovič’s MARÍNA all around the globe. On Valentine’s Day in 2018
something incredible happened!

Within 48 hours, the media in 70 countries on all continents started to talk about the
LOVE BANK, Sládkovič and Marína! On 14th February 2018, millions of people worldwide
learnt for the first time that the Slovak poem MARÍNA is the World’s longest love poem.
We started to make MARÍNA known around the globe.
They have already written about us in 70 countries on five continents.
